- Parts Finishing Group Æ Metal Prep Plant,
Detroit, MI
PFG purchased assets of Metal Prep in September 2006. This 36,000 sq. ft. building was purchased
to add capacity and compliment the existing PFG Æ Bellevue Processing Plant. Metal Prep operates
tumble blasting and shot blasting equipment. In addition, Metal Prep specializes in blasting larger
parts that can be hung in spinner hanger blasting machines. Parts such as stabilizer bars, large
stampings, engine blocks, etc. utilize this process.
- Parts Finishing Group has recently signed
two new license agreements to provide additional services
in Mexico.
- PFG is now licensed to apply Magni, which is a zinc rich coating. The Magni series of coatings provide long-term corrosion protection on fasteners and stampings. This product is applied at the two PFG plants in Chihuahua and Queretaro, Mexico.
- PFG is now licensed by Nylok to apply a broad
range of nylon self-locking, self-sealing patches
to fasteners. This gives PFG the capability to
coat parts with Magni and other coatings and then
apply the self-locking nylon patch at the same
location. www.nylok.com
- PFG Autophoretic Plant No. 3 Startup June
2005. PFG has a new 50,000 sq. ft. facility in

more capacity and the ability to run longer parts
up to 72" long. The plant has 2 large Autophoretic
lines; 800 series conveyor rack line and a large 900
series hoist line. These heavy duty lines enable PFG
to run small parts with high density and larger parts
such as engine cradles and trailer hitches.
- PFG Indiana - Kendallville, Indiana 42,000
sq. ft., Startup May 2005. Production began in

/ Illinois) area. This plant also more than doubles
PFGÍs production capacity in the U.S. Æ enabling the
company to serve new markets and 100% of its customers
requirements. The Kendallville plant, like the Queretaro
plant in Mexico, features a new Jessup phosphate coating
line and a new state of the art chain-on-edge line
to coat inside and outside diameters of parts. This
plant also offers additional coatings products and
processes.
- PFG Queretaro - Queretaro, Mexico 66,000

doing business in Mexico. This plant offers a blend
of coating services. Several pretreatment options
are available including micro and macro zinc phosphate
with three post treatment options on a new, high volume,
double hoist, PLC controlled, Jessup barrel phosphate
coating line. PFGÍs blasting capabilities include
high volume tumble blasting, nozzle blasting, and
chain on edge/table blasting. Several coatings are
