As a result of many of our customers requesting that Michigan Hone & Drill take full responsibility for the hole geometry; Michigan Hone & Drill purchased its first deep hole drilling machine in 1992.

Since 1992 the Deep Hole/Gun Drilling has expanded rapidly; Michigan Hone & Drill has expanded rapidly. Michigan Hone & Drill now has 10 deep hole drilling spindles.

Quality Control/Inspection: SPC, Air Gages, Surfometers, Carbide Tipped, Bore Gages - all sizes, Gages Calibrated to MIL STD .45662.

Tooling: Complete wide range of In-house tooling for most applications (example .450" Mandrel to Hone 25" Length). We utilize conventional, CBN, Diamond Abrasives, and Carbide Tipped Drills.
